Terms of use

Last updated 19 August 2026

These terms govern this website. The most important thing on this page: Truwright products are still being built, and what you read here describes what we are building — not software you can buy today.

1. What these terms cover

These terms apply to truwright.com and its content. They are not a licence to any Truwright software and they do not give you a right to receive, use or buy any product. If we ever supply you with a product, that is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both of us, which takes precedence over these terms.

By using this site or submitting a form, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Who this site is for

This site is aimed at businesses and professionals in construction, not consumers. You must be at least 18. If you submit information on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to do that.

3. Our products are in development — please read this part

Truwright is a pre-launch company. Statements on this site about what our software will do — features, modules, integrations, security characteristics, timing, availability or price — describe our current plans and intentions as of the date shown at the top of this page. They are forward-looking statements, not commitments, promises, warranties or guarantees.

Concretely:

  • Anything marked in development or coming soon does not exist today. It may change substantially, be delayed, be re-scoped, or never ship at all.
  • Anything marked available is available to early-access participants under an early-access arrangement. It is not generally available software.
  • Security descriptions are design intent. Where we describe encryption, audit logging, multi-factor sign-in or per-company data separation, we are describing how the products are being built. Those are not representations that a feature exists today, and they are not a certification or an audit result. We hold no SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, PCI DSS or comparable attestation, and we do not claim one. No system connected to the internet is ever completely secure.
  • Accounting integrations are in development. Where we say Truwright is built to sync with QuickBooks, Sage or Xero, that describes planned capability, not a feature you can use today.

Please do not make purchasing, hiring, budgeting or operational decisions in reliance on these statements. We are not obliged to update them.

4. Screenshots and demonstrations are illustrative

Product images, dashboards and interface renderings on this site illustrate design intent for software in development. They may show pre-release, prototype or mocked-up interfaces that are not available today and may never ship in the form shown. Every project name, company name, dollar figure and person name in them is fictional. They do not depict a real project, company or transaction, and they are not representative of results any customer has achieved.

5. Early access and pre-booking do not create a contract

Submitting the early-access form, joining a waitlist, pre-booking or booking a demo is a request to be contacted. It does not create a contract, is not an offer by us or an acceptance of an offer by you, does not reserve capacity, a delivery date or a price, and does not entitle you to receive anything. No fee is charged and we collect no payment details at this stage. Either of us can walk away at any time. A commercial relationship begins only when both of us sign a written agreement.

6. Nothing here is a price quote

No price is quoted, fixed or guaranteed on this site. References to founding-customer pricing, to locking in pricing, or to being priced for small and mid-sized contractors describe our current intention and our general market positioning. They are invitations to discuss, not offers you can accept, and they can change or be withdrawn at any time. Any actual price comes from a written quote signed by both of us.

7. This is not professional advice

Nothing on this site is accounting, bookkeeping, tax, payroll, employment, legal, engineering, insurance or occupational health and safety advice. Where we describe accounting concepts — general ledgers, payroll, three-way matching, work-in-progress, over- and under-billing, liens or claims — we are speaking generally, and it may not reflect the rules that apply to you. Talk to your own accountant, lawyer or safety adviser.

8. Acceptable use

Please do not:

  • scrape, crawl, mirror or harvest this site by automated means — search engines respecting our robots directives are welcome;
  • reverse engineer or try to derive source code from anything the site delivers;
  • probe, scan or test the security of the site, or work around any rate limit;
  • submit false, impersonated or misleading information through any form;
  • submit somebody else personal information without their knowledge and consent; or
  • interfere with the operation or availability of the site.

We may ignore, delete or refuse any submission, and block access, without notice.

9. Our content

The text, layout, design, graphics, icons, product screenshots, source code and marks on this site belong to Truwright or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and print pages to evaluate Truwright products. You may not republish, redistribute, adapt or build on any part of the site, including screenshots and copy, without our written permission. All other rights are reserved.

10. Ideas you send us

If you send us ideas, feature requests, workflow descriptions, sample documents or cost-code structures — through a form, a demo, an email or any other route — you give us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use and build on that input in our products and business, without owing you attribution, payment or confidentiality. You confirm you have the right to send it to us.

We say this plainly because we actively ask for it: shaping the software around how you actually work is the point of our early-access programme. If you need something kept confidential, tell us before you send it and we will put a confidentiality agreement in place.

11. Other companies and their trademarks

QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc. Sage is a trademark of The Sage Group plc. Xero is a trademark of Xero Limited. All other product and company names on this site belong to their respective owners. We name them only to say what our software is designed to work with. Truwright is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or certified by any of them.

12. Other people services

This site relies on third-party services, including form processing by Formspree (United States) and demo scheduling by Calendly. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices — your use of them is governed by their own terms. See our privacy policy for what this means for your information.

13. No warranty

This site and its content are provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the site will be error-free. Some places do not allow certain warranties to be excluded, so parts of this may not apply to you.

14. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Truwright and its founder will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings, contracts or data, arising from your use of this site or reliance on anything on it, whether the claim is in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise. Our total liability for everything relating to this site will not exceed CAD $100.

Nothing here excludes liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Indemnity

If you breach these terms, misuse the site, submit false information or submit personal information about someone else, and that causes us loss, cost or a claim, you agree to cover our reasonable costs including legal fees.

16. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute about them or about this site, are governed by the laws of the Province of [TODO: province, e.g. Saskatchewan] and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of that province have exclusive jurisdiction. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

17. Changes

We may change these terms at any time. The current version always lives at this address with the date it was last updated at the top, and changes take effect when posted. Because this site has no user accounts, we cannot notify you individually — please check back if it matters to you. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

18. General

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce something immediately, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. We may assign these terms as part of a business transfer; you may not assign them.
